Try saving the picture to paint. Then go to imageshack and browse/upload the image. Then tell it to resize it to an avatar or thumbnail size. That is what I did to mine.

I tried to do it last night, but somehow made our computer crash before even getting into windows. Needless to say my hubby wasn't very happy with me. :cry:
