Hey everyone, please try to keep avatars around 150 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall to help keep the forum under control.

If your avatar is too large i will give you a warning to change it, then i will delete it myself after 24 hours if you have no changed it.

Go to your profile up at the top, pick out an image, and then click upload or save.

Okay to get an image url you right click on an image, and look for something that says
Address:
(URL)

Copy the thing after it. It will look something like this: http://howrsehelp.freeforums.org/files/ ... _phpBB.gif

All are different, but it gives you an idea. Then once you copy it, go to profile at the top of the forums, and scroll down to where it says avatar or something like that. Put the URL in and upload it. Then click save, and you will have it.

Ok, so I'm not very good at this. I'm luck I got the avatar to show up, so if I have to resize it, I might be in trouble, even with Lexi's great instructions.

So, is mine too big? I certainly don't want to set a bad example!

Darn it! I know it is too big. :( Sorry.

If I open it to shrink it, then I'll have to save it somewhere else, thus losing the URL link. Is there any other way to resize it?
