At birth. Look at horses who have a green star. Right above the GP amount in the middle section is the break down of skills that make up the GP. If one or more of those skills is 100 or more then the new foal will have a green star.

You keep breeding horses together with 100 BLUP ( this means fully trained, over 10 years of age, with 20 wins in the competitions.) and with higher GP then your mare. So if your mare is 350 you want to look for a stud that is 351 or higher.

Please remember folks that you can not see these numbers until you have passed your 4th riding level test.

you might look for a horse with GP greater than 360 and breed with a 380 or above or just ask on the centaur for a green star filly to begin your breeding farm. I myself breed green star arabs

Wouldn't you get a greenstar if you complete the training?

No unfortunatly. Greenstras are based on the skills the foal is born with.
You can tell a gelding, you can ask a stallion, but you must discuss it with a mare.

I thought it was based on the Genetic Potential, not the skills. I bred a Canadian horse with a 375 GP, and a stallion with 100 BLUP, but my mare didn't, and I got two greenstar fillies(fertility wand).

blackcatluvr, you are correct the greenstarness comes from the GP.

ecljel, look at your horses GP section if you can see it (have passed the 4th level riding test) If any of the skills are 100 or over in any of the skills your horse will have a green star. If there are no 100 minimum in the GP section the horse will not be a greenstar. Any skill that is 100 or more in the GP section your horse will be a green star.

Almost Dude's Person. If a foal is born with a high enough GP skill, like say galloping is 99.92. Then after play the .2 that each GP skill receives will boost the 99.92 to a little over 100 and cause the foal to have a green star. So in actuality, if any GP skill is at 98 or better the foal will have a green star after play.

revision, any GP skill of at least 99.8 or better should be a green star after play.

Ckst, you may confuse someone with that. First you say 99.92, then you say 98. I think the lowest it can be to get a greenstar is 99.81, but of course I could be wrong. It's happend before. LOL
