Help! My horse has low health!

Postby lexio2 on Mon Aug 06, 2007 5:41 pm

To solve low health problems you must first determine WHY your horse has low health.

AGE
Horses lose health when they age past 25 years of life at a rate of 2% each day until they die. This is only reversed by giving a horse immortality.

POISONING
If your horse is sick health will be lowered and continue to lower each day until you give the anti-poisoning capsule. Some times it takes a day for the effects of poisoning to wear off, so if you gave the capsule and your horse's health is still low, wait until tomorrow.

OVERWEIGHT/UNDERWEIGHT
If your horse is severely over- or underweight health will drop dramaticly over night. If this is the case there will be a message in your horse's history AND when you go to feed grain there will be a warning as well.

To correct an over weight horse:
DO NOT give any food at all for one day, the next day the horse will be at the correct weight.
This is not animal cruelty, it is a game with virtual horses.
If you must give your horse some food, give only 3lbs forage and 10 ounces grain NO MORE.

to correct an underweight horse, start the day by feeding 20lbs forage and 110ounces grain. THEN put the horse in the pasture for several hours and do not do much training.
the problem should be solved the next day.

Being in the pasture and turnips also help raise health. Or if you have passes you can use a Black Orchid to 'Restore' them.
