NIB horses

Postby cuddles361 on Sun Dec 28, 2008 11:59 pm

I know this maybe like the dumbest question and I may sound so dumb asking this but what is a NIB horse. To me cos it has something to do with breeding I'm thinking maybe not in-breeding lol :help:

Means N.o I.n B.reeding. In shorter easier term, it means NO crossing of mother to son, son to grandmother, g'pa to g'daughter etc. in the lineages. Bred from non-related horses.

Hope that helped :D

Cuddle's don't feel bad about it, when I first saw it I thought it meant New-In-Box  b/c that's what it means like on ebay etc. I hate it when people abbreviate like that...It goes way over my head

If it is the day she is due, and you look after the mare with out giving birth, that yes. You would loose the foal, not sure about the mare, and 1 karma.

But if it is just a normal day in her pregnancy, when she is not due, you would be perfectly fine.

oh, cos my friend, she said I dont have enough money to birth the foal I was like then just leave her till you have enough money, I think she heard wrong. But I think when I birthed my first foal was on my 30th day round bout that then. And I had 5000e so I when I heard about people loosing karma when the couldnt birth a foal I'm like but wait till you have money. I didnt really know what I was doing then, lol

Well, If you don't have the money, being 600e max. you would loose the foal. Loosing the foal, is what drops your karma.

But she could leave the mare for as long as she needed. But the only wary thing is, if the pregnant horse, is your only horse, you have no real income.

Since you get paid for taking care of your horse, and it's dung. The only chance you have is selling off all you have. But then you would need to stroke horses in haven or sell any flying ufo's you find.

I think she had a foal and spent all of her money on the mare again. And then she bought turnips and stuff. And she never got the idea of "having a job" as a groom and so she lost the foal aswell. And then she blamed it all on me. argh!!
