"starred" horses?

Postby flake on Fri Mar 06, 2009 6:58 am

I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to, so I figured I'd just go ahead and ask...sorry if it's been posted before, but I haven't been able to find it.

I'm seeing a lot of people talk about their 8 star and 9 star horses for sale or stud. What do they mean by that? Is that the training stars or what?

As a side note, I think it's pretty ridiculous that you have to wait 30 days to be able to see your howrse's BLUP and other info. I've been playing for 10 days and I'm on my 4th generation from my foundation mare; the foal has got over 500% GP and I think she's pretty decent, but I've been doing this blindly so, really, I have no idea. I've got to wait 20 more days before I can know for sure if I'm headed in the right direction with them.
They really need to lessen the time restrictions on levels.
/end rant. :D

Ok. here is one of my mares as an example:

GENETIC
Stamina 68.95 Gallop 75.68
Speed 105.23 Trot 24.75
Dressage 87.99 Jumping 39.58

Total potential reached 402.18
This mare has a BLUP of 10.47.

As you can see she has over 100 in speed. That gives her one green star. When a horse has 110 , it's a two star, 120, three star and so on. The eight and nine stars you are seeing acctually have stars in mre than one "skill".

If you want to know your horses Blup, you can always ask here or PM me on the game and someone will look it up for you. Most of the people onthis forum are very freindly and happy to help a new player.

My name is the same on the game: Bluebunnysq
You can tell a gelding, you can ask a stallion, but you must discuss it with a mare.

Ahh, that explains it perfectly, thanks!!

I'll probably take you up on that offer to check her BLUP, but I'll wait till right before I'm ready to breed her, that way I'm not constantly flooding your forum, begging people to look at her for me. :) She's not completely done with her training/rides and still needs to win her a few more races before I'll want to do anything with her.

Thanks again! :D

If you want to know the GP, I've found out to go to your page and see the horses in the breeding farm and you'll see the GP by them. My friend found that out after she kept getting me to check her foals to see what GP they.

Okay, I think she's done. I've finished all the training, hit the 20-Wins mark and we're past the point of her gaining anything from rides or competitions. Can someone look at her for me and tell me how she stands (what her BLUP is, what she has bolded, etc)?

This Miss

I didn't 'finish' her until age 15...she probably should have finished at a MUCH earlier age, but I'm new and still kind of figuring this out as I go along.

Here you go!

GENETIC

Stamina 83.39 Gallop 98.15
Speed 136.53 Trot 37.79
Dressage 110.07 Jumping 57.98

Total potential reached 523.90
This mare has a BLUP of 100.00.
She's bold in speed, dressage, gallop & jump

also:
Speed 4 stars
Dressage 2 stars

This mare is six fold starred.

good job. the only thing you may need to bold Stamina & Trot would probably some Cross- country comps and/or long trot rides.

You are right Cuddles! A friend found it by accident, LOl Very neat way to get the info.

flake, Check out the training forum. There are some good schedules there. You could also check out my Ec forum, I've posted my training schedule which works well for me.

Cool, I'll definitely check out both places.
When I finally get a foal out of this mare, I want to make sure that I train it right, from the ground up this time. :D
