Stars? Not the usual ones

Postby Housatonic on Tue May 19, 2009 6:02 am

There are plenty of answered question on the regular green stars, and I know all I need about them.
But when you visit a players page, on the overview of their horses most horses also have a green star. (like the blue pure breed star, only green)
When you hover over it, it usually says "this is a one star horse", and once I've spotted one that said it was a two star horse.
Obviously as these horses often have plenty of common green stars, this is not what that refers to.
Can anyone help me out of the dark on what they are about? :?

I'm not sure what you are asking.

The majority of breeds have multiple greenstars. Example 100 in gallop = 1 star, 110 in gallop = 2 stars, and so forth. You can also have stars in more than one skill. Arabs have them in Stamina, Dressage, and I think jump. They are up to 11-12 stars, so there are some great horses out there.
You can tell a gelding, you can ask a stallion, but you must discuss it with a mare.

Yes, I completely agree!! It drives me insane, Howrse needs to fix that.

BB, when you are viewing another person's page and you roll over one of the horses under their breeding farm (without clicking on the horse's actual page) it has a single green star showing the horse is greestarred. Instead of saying "this horse has 10 green stars" it says "this horse is greenstarred" or "this horse has one green star." Drives me insane when you're looking at horses!!!

I know right. Its not that a big deal but really, people should know without actually looking at the horse's page. My idea should be the stars should be like maths. Greenstar to the power of 10. You see, using mathmatical terms....haha
