Please don't laugh but I've started to cross breed but I don't know as much as I thought I knew.
First, I had a brain fart and forgot how to figure out how much skill a foal will gain once foal games are over. I know you add 1.2 to figure the GP, but the individual skills like stamina say is 92.67 before foal games. Do you add 0.1 or 0.2 to the skill to figure out the max gain after foal games?
Secondly, although this may be an easy answer and I might be a complete idiot, please help me answer this next question:
How do you breed a cross breed back to pure w/o losing the skills you gained from you crossing? Say, you have a 50% IH and 50% Arab. Don't you just keep breeding the foals to each other and BLUPing them, using wands and tears to increase the %? Ugghh. I just bred my IH 62.50/ 37.5 Arab cross to the sister and the foals came out the same %!!!
What in the world am I doing wrong??? Thanks!
