no, it must be a glitch as all of my horses had had the arms drop off after 30.

lucky you! :)

Proto, if you are trying to keep your mare alive until after the age of 30 to get a pass, you are defeating yourself spending a pass on the black orchid. You just break even that way. If you remove the saddle and bridle, assuming they are not black market, and only feed and maybe do the lessons each day, your horses health decreases 1% each day.

I'm not sure, but I think a horse will only retain skills if made immortal before turning 25. You probably meant that, though... ^.^'

huh? Oh, I had no intention of keeping any or my horses alive using a black market item. (unless it came from a horn of plenty from a riding level) I just never heard of the pass given to horses going to heaven after 30. My real plan is going to be used when my first horse Mack gets to the age of 24y10m. I'm going to stop using him and wait till I can get the stone. I'll let my others die (sounds so mean...) But I want to atleast save him cause he was my first. (and I just love him to bits)

Yes, Sam, if your horse is immortal, they will never die. Not even if you work them so hard their energy drops to 0% (though I don't suggest you let them get to that point because that will cause their health and morale to decrease and you will have less training time the next day).

Now I have a question: I have a mare that is fast approaching 25. She's immortal, so I'm not worried about her dying, but I thought I read something somewhere that said they couldn't continue to do lessons and compete once they have reached the age of 25. Is that true? I know they drop off the rankings at that age, which I am not worried about, but the thought of not being able to put her in comps or lessons is a little.... annoying.

PC - you can still race AND to lessons, but after 25 you no longer gain ANY skill from lessons. I have an immortal mare well into her 30s, i only use her for breeding, so i feed her only in the pasture and make an easy $40 off of her daily :)

Also, i've gathered from the centaur (the "other" forum) that there is a glitch were immortal horses over 25 are not falling off of the elite rankings and the same is true on Equiedo, so who knows what's up...
